Context
During summer 2022, 3 friends and I decided to team up for a our student project. The idea ? Creating a mobile application for ENSAM’s students to manage their associations and school activities. I joined the project as the main designer and front-end developer.
My role
As said earlier, I joined the project as the main designer in the team. Between September 2022 and January 2023, I worked closely with the team on the project, its narrative and I created the entire brand (Icons, Logo, Fonts, Colors, Brand Guidelines). In the meantime I quickly began working on Figma to give life to the UX Ideas we had for the app. I also worked extensively on the front-end development using Flutter. Finally, I also responsible on external communication around the project (even though it has been very calm lately).
Goal
TBKpp is an app made for students by students. This sums up the core of the project: We want to deliver a high quality product for free to everyone who might need it to help many launch their projects and ideas inside their school. TBK’pp was not created to make profit and will stay as a student project. In the meantime, TBK’pp is an association on it’s own, dedicated to working on creating the friendly space for anyone passionate in learning code.
Project Status
We are proud to announce that the project is released to the users on IOS and Android. We are currently working on the last few bugs and preparing the transition of the project to the next generation of students.
Results
We recently passed the cap of 900 daily users on the app. We are proud of the work we have done and we are looking forward to the future of the project. We are also proud to announce that we have been selected to present our project at the ENSAM’s annual event.
